My family is looking to re-home two male 16-month-old beagle puppies to a good home.
My sons purchased the two puppies in December 2022 for $500 each from an Amish family. We have had the puppies for a little over a year and we're afraid that we are not able to provide the space and playtime they require. We hate having to rehome them, but they deserve better, and I know someone in Athens County will have the perfect home for them.
The puppies are NOT current on their shots. For whomever adopts them; they will need to be taken to a vet to get their shots up-to-date.
The puppies have not been fixed and are intact.
They weigh approximately 25-35 lbs.
We were told by the Amish family that the puppies are 100% beagle and not mixed with another dog breed. They will make great hunting dogs.
The puppies are very sweet, but very hyper. They love to run and play and they LOVE spending time outside. They have always been indoor/outdoor dogs, but keep in mind that if they are kept inside for longer than a couple of hours they find things to destroy.
Their names are Porter and Bear and we love them very much; but they deserve a lot better than we can give them.
REMINDER: These puppies are a bonded pair and must be adopted together.
