At Thompson Construction, we don't just build stuff- we create lasting impressions! And right now, we need you to come in and put your Carpentry skills to the test at one of our many ongoing commercial and residential projects.
Basic duties of a Thompson Carpenter:
-Participates in the planning and coordination of various projects
-Reads project plans, blueprints and other technical drawings
-Measures, marks, and cuts wood, metal, and other types of material
-Constructs walls, floors, ceilings, partitions, and other structures
-Inspects, repairs and replaces damaged framework and structures
-Operates a wide variety of hand, power, and measuring tools
-Coordinates with other trades, such as framers, electricians, and laborers
-Safely and properly maintains all material, tools and equipment
-Follows all company and industry safety codes and guidelines
-Performs a variety of basic general labor duties as needed
Requirements:
-Must have at least 1-2 years of carpentry experience
-Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
-Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project plans
-Ability to follow basic instructions and communicate effectively
-Ability to perform all aspects of general labor duties, if necessary
-Ability to work flexible schedules and Overtime, if necessary
Pay Rate: Up to $35 Per Hour + an AMAZING Benefits package
