I have a one bedroom section 8 hud housing voucher however it expires July 2nd. And I’ve already been granted the 30 day extension. I’m currently unemployed however job hunting in search for employment. I’m attempting to get custody of my daughter back and left my husband and am and have been residing in an dm shelter for over a few month now. I am to obtain housing and employment is a requirement per the courts and cps and am seeking housing in Athens Ohio or in Athens county. I’ve been really struggling with finding anything at all after months of searching. I am on a waitlist I do believe now for kershaw rentals in Athens and I paid for the money order to turn the application in to that rental office here recently. I’m in dire need of housing asap to obtain custody back of my daughter like I said and I am wondering if anyone could please give me any leads and or assist me with my situation. I’m also on the top of a waitlist through intregrated services that will then assist me with rent and deposit too I do believe for housing.
