7 year old - Missouri Fox Trotter/TWH cross mare - 13.3hh - Hamden, Ohio
Rain came to me 45 days ago to be trained and sold on consignment, and she has done great. She is still green broke, but has improved a ton with consistent riding and gets better every ride.
She has been wonderful out on the trails. She’ll ride out alone, crosses bridges, handles hills, stops, backs, loads, ties, and stands nicely. She has been going very well in the arena, I have a 13 year old who rides her weekly and they do great together. She continues to impress us in the arena with her improvements and her trot is incredibly comfortable. We have not started her on the canter, yet.
Rain can be a typical pony mare and may test a little, but she is not mean or dangerous. She is a willing learner and gets sweeter once she knows you.
Best suited for an advanced child with guidance or an intermediate adult.
