This is a private, quiet, comfortable, nice, clean, peaceful living situation which is fully furnished if desired. The main entrance to the house is shared.

The upstairs residence is comfortable and well appointed with clean walls and carpeting, plenty of closet space, and enough room for your possessions and any furniture. The house is located on a pretty lot in a quiet country setting and has easy access to town - a 7 or 8-minute drive (4.5 miles). If you are looking for a peaceful, private setting this is the place.

People who have rented this space in the past say that it is worth $400 a month, because of the private aspect of it relative to what else is available. However, since this is the "off" season for finding roommates, I've lowered the rent to just $325.

The suite has four windows that look out over a big landscaped yard, distant hills, a rooftop and pine trees, and sunsets. You’ll hear birds singing, a chicken in the distance, and sometimes a horse whinnying.

The bedroom has teal carpet and khaki walls with white trim, a new bed, a dresser, and nightstand. The study has beige carpet with cream walls and white trim, and a desk, filing cabinet, printer stand, and black leather desk chair (not pictured).

My previous roommates have said that this is a very nice space and have enjoyed living here. My current roommate left because he got a job back in Denver. You may speak with any of my former roommates if you like.

About me: I am a PhD student and live on the first floor. I am easy going, good-humored, considerate, respectful, calm, trustworthy, and have a good sense of humor. I love art, British comedy, independent films, funny movies, and music. I am a musician. I have a wide range of interests from philosophy to ancient history to dolphins. My favorite TV show was The Sarah Connor Chronicles. I don’t watch much TV now except for an occasional Masterpiece Theater. There is a TV hookup for local reception upstairs, but some of my former roommates enjoyed watching football on the TV in the living room downstairs.

I have 2 cats and do not really desire any additional pets, but am willing to consider that.

I am very busy studying, but I would welcome doing “roommate” things sometimes like hanging out occasionally, cooking out on the deck, or sharing a meal or a movie.

8 bedroom house; everyone has a private bedroom. Ages range between 21 - 30; from undergraduate to graduate. Everyone takes responsibility for the house, there is a chore chart and a weekly get together house meeting. Once a week we have a potluck. We give our current members until Feb. to sign the leases for the following year. There are currently no pets, but if you have one, you have to get the house to vote it a - okay first. There are no parking spots next to the house, but a lot across the street you can get a pass for. There is no washer/dryer, but a laundrymat 3 blocks down.
